Delete your LingoLooper account
You can delete your LingoLooper account and the personal data associated with it directly in the app. If you cannot access the app, you can also start a deletion request by email.
Delete your account in the app
If you can open LingoLooper, the quickest way to delete your account is from your profile settings:

Open LingoLooper, go to the Profile tab, and open settings.

Tap Delete Account.

Enter the confirmation phrase and confirm by tapping Delete Account. This action cannot be undone.
Request deletion from the web
If you cannot access the app, or prefer to start the request from the web, email us from the address connected to your LingoLooper account. We may ask for additional information to verify account ownership before deleting the account.

Data deleted with your account
When your LingoLooper account is deleted, we delete personal data associated with that account, including:
- Your profile information.
- Your account settings.
- Your conversation history.
- Your learning progression and learner stats.
- Uploaded profile pictures.
Data we may retain
We may retain limited information where we have a legitimate reason or legal obligation to do so, including:
- Records required for tax, accounting, dispute, or legal compliance.
- Security, fraud-prevention, and abuse-prevention records.
- App-store purchase or subscription records managed by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat.
- Aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you.
Subscriptions
Deleting your LingoLooper account or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel an active subscription or trial. If you started a subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play, manage or cancel it through that store's subscription settings.
