LingoLooper is an innovative AI-powered language learning app that facilitates speaking practice in your target language with AI avatars in a virtual world, created by Lumi Labs AB, based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Our mission is to make learning languages engaging, fun and effective in order to help you speak your dream language with confidence.

What information do we collect?

To enhance your learning experience, we collect the following information:

Profile information

Name and email address when you create a user account in the App.

Conversations with avatars

In the App, your interactions with our AI avatars are under your control. Please be aware that the content of your conversations is transcribed and stored as text as well as audio. This transcription is essential for facilitating the conversation and enhancing your overall learning experience.

The usage of our product

To improve the App functionality and user experience, we collect information on what features you use and how you interact with the software.

Feedback form answers

When you submit a response to our feedback forms, we save your reply so that we can gather new insights that guide the continuous development of our product.

Device information

This includes the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet, as well as the used internet browser, internet browser language and the computer’s operating system.

Deferred deep-linking

For referral tracking in our “invite friends” feature in the App.

LingoLeague data

Your recent learning progression (such as speaking time) and activity may be visible to other users in the LingoLeague.

Profile picture

If you choose to upload a profile picture in the App, it may be visible to other users in the LingoLeague.

How do we store and protect your information?

All information is stored on our servers in Europe. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. We do our best to protect your personal information. However, transmission of personal information to and from our Sites and App is at your own risk. You should only access the services within a secure environment.

How do we communicate with you?

When you send us an e-mail, we use your e-mail address to get back to you. We will store your message and our reply for any future communication.

We use your e-mail to provide you with relevant information that complements our product offering. This can, for example, include a weekly summary or reminders. You can opt out from this communication at any time in your profile settings.

When you accept to receive information about important updates on LingoLooper, we use your e-mail address to provide you with this information until you ask us to stop. You can opt out at any time using a link at the bottom of each e-mail.
